A New Approach to Parent Engagement
Many parents learn from their children and this also goes the other way around.
We can teach our parents how to incorporate mindfulness as a way to approach their own well being as well as a way to approach parenting and guiding their children through your school.
A workshop might simply be a 60-minute parent night over Zoom or in person or a presentation at a Back to School night that allows parents to simply learn a few practical mindfulness techniques and how they might use it to feel more relaxed, be more productive and help them guide their children.
It adds a great value to your schools programming and is a great way to help parents engage with the mindfulness and mindful learning programs you are building in your school or district!
